So for those of you who don't know, I applied for a Microfinance internship for this summer in Mumbai, India. I applied last week and received my acceptance today! Only problem is... I need to fund it now =) I've received a $1000 scholarship from my home university already, but I'm still about $2200 short. My love of traveling first came when I visited Québec, Canada as a sophomore in high school. The quaint town of Québec with it's outdoor cafés, cobblestone streets and European architecture changed my life. I knew from that point on I wanted to study in Paris, travel Europe and eventually travel the world. The second time I visited Québec as a senior in high school only solidified what I already knew: the world was a big place, and it was time to explore it. Three European trips, a semester in Paris and 12 countries later, here I am starting another semester in Milan, Italy for four months. I figured it was time to share my experiences with friends and family. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.
